Exciting news at Henderson & Hardy.

We are delighted to announce that Adam Chiverton has purchased the Practice.

Lorraine, Debbie and Chris will continue to work at 3 Rubislaw Place alongside Adam, who will secure the long-term future of this family-owned Practice and continue to offer the best dental care to all our valued patients and friends.

Adam qualified with Honours from the University of Dundee in 2013 and returned home to Aberdeen where he worked at the same practice for the past twelve years. He provided NHS and private treatment for most of this time but has limited his scope in the past three years to private treatment only. This change has allowed him to concentrate on his main areas of interest: Invisalign, cosmetic treatment and implant dentistry. Adam has undergone further postgraduate training completing the Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry Course with Tipton Training and passed his master’s degree in Implantology from The University of Central Lancashire in 2025 with distinction.

Adam is looking forward to meeting the patients at Henderson and Hardy and to continue the high standard of dentistry established there over the past few decades. Adam is excited to continue to provide general dentistry and to begin the provision of cosmetic and implant dentistry at the practice.

Outside of dentistry Adam enjoys spending time with his young family and their chocolate labrador. Having retired from playing rugby Adam still likes to spectate and get to the gym when he can.

Accredited Denplan Excel Practice

We are proud to offer Denplan Care to our patients and have long been accredited as a Denplan Excel Practice. Denplan Care offers a full Private dental care package with an affordable monthly payment, allowing you to budget your treatment throughout the year. If you would like to find out more information regarding this, feel free to speak with us today, and one of our practice team will happily talk you through any questions you have.

You can also receive treatment on other private dental care plans and on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. We continue to provide treatment under the National Health Service for children and patients up to the age of 18 years.

We also have oral hygienists, who can provide periodontal treatment for patients. This includes scaling and polishing and deep cleansing of the teeth, preventative care and advice to demonstrate efficient tooth brushing, flossing and other cleansing techniques. This is very important in preventing gum disease and the long term care of your teeth and gums. Additionally, where appropriate, our hygienists can provide fissure sealants for children upon their molar teeth to further help prevent tooth decay.
